How has Covid 19 effected your business?

Answer:

We have been working on skeleton crew since the Coivd situation began but restrictions have now lifted and we are recruiting more staff to process orders and managing customer enquiries.  

The biggest issue we have suffered is the deliveries.  There has been delays and in most cases returns due to certain parts of the world being on lock down.  In addition to this supply of certain product ranges have been reduced or stopped completely.

Our new website is current and is up to date of all current products available.  We will constantly update all products as quickly as we can.

Question:

Are all the products in date?

Answer:

Yes.  All products are fresh and have at least 3 months shelf life.  In most cases we have the full life span of the product as we get daily deliveries and stock rotation is high.

Question:

Do you ship to Canada?

Answer:

Yes. We ship all over the world.  Commonly Europe, Canada, Switzerland and USA but we are starting to see growth in other parts of the world.  Certain products may be restricted when they go through customs control.  We will check the order and confirm if any of the products are restricted and refund the items back to you before shipping them.  We will confirm your order and track it, till delivered.  

Question:

Will there be any Duty or Tax to pay?

Answer:

For UK and European Destinations no Duty and Tax is payable (Brexit may change this but we will update our information as things develop).  For rest of the world shipments this will depending on the value of the order and if the items are for re-sale or personal consumption.  Please check with us or your local authorities for further information.

British Hypermarket are not Liable for paying any Duty and Tax.  If the goods get returned due to non payment of Duty and Tax we will refund you the order minus any charges incurred.

What shipping options do you have?

Answer:

Our Website is integrated with our online shipping portal allowing customers to choose from standard or express courier options.  UK deliveries are 1/2 days.  European 3/5 days but next day options are available.  Rest of the World, Standard 5/6 Day Delivery or Express 1/2 Days.

Do you deliver to Hot Countries?

Answer:

Yes, We ship all over the world including hot countries.  We aim to have your goods within a reasonable time frame.  Chocolate products are packed in ambient boxes, please note that we cannot offer refunds for chocolate items that have melted due to hot climate conditions at destination

Purchasing chocolate products (or any other heat sensitive product) destined for countries with hot climates is done so at your own risk.

Question:

Do you ship alcohol? 

Answer:

Yes, We now sell alcohol.  Certain destinations around the world may be restricted.  If unsure please contact us or we will contact you if there is an issue.  Rules change all the time so we will check before we pick the items.  

Buyers must be of legal age within your country of residence, and by placing an order you confirm that you are of the legal drinking age. We reserve the right cancel orders if we are unsure of the buyers age.

Question:

Shipping glass bottles? How do you prevent damages

Answer:

We pick and pack all items with care.  All liquids are bagged.  All glass bottles are wrapped in bubble wrap and card inserts to protect them from rattling.  Further packaging is added (air bags) in placed in a double/triple corrugated boxes.  In some cases 2 boxes are used to protect the high value items.  Finally Fragile tape is used to indicated fragile items.

Do you ship to individuals or just Businesses?

Answer:

We ship to Individuals, Expats, Businesses, Hotels, Restaurants, Care homes, all over the UK, Europe and Rest of the World.  If you have any enquiries (big or small) please get in touch or browse trough our website.
