This garnet red Bordeaux impresses by its dark, almost black color in the glass. The bouquet is lively and fine with a subtle marriage of wood, ripened black fruits, and spices with vanilla and cinnamon notes. Vinification Details: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc Harvesting at optimal maturity of plots selected at our partners' wine growers, under Calvet winemakers' control. Destemming, crushing, long and gentle macerations at a moderated temperature (26-28°C) in order to preserve the roundness and the fruit. Pumpovers to extract the tannins necessary to the ageing.
