Resolution Bay Marlborough Pinot Noir 75cl Case of 6

Red Wine

Resolution Bay, or Ata-po (early dawn), in the Marlborough Sounds, derives its name from Captain Cook's ship. Crafted from carefully selected vineyards. Light and delicate wine with good structure and an elegant profile with subtle notes of red fruits and a touch of spice.

Type of Closure: Screwcap

Current Vintage: 2024
Producer: Felix Solis S.L.
Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
Winemaker: Carlos Villarraso
Agent: Felix Solis Avantis UK Ltd
Vinification Details: The grapes for this Pinot Noir are carefully selected and fermented in stainless steel tanks at around 18C to retain their fresh, fruity flavours. Maceration of the skins typically lasts up to a week to obtain a deep purple colour and soft tannic structure. A portion of the blend is aged in oak barrels prior to release.
History: This wine pays homage to one of New Zealand's most beautiful coastal landscapes. “Resolution Bay” is located in Marlborough, at the top of the South Island. An area of stunning coastal views. The Marlborough region is world-famous, particularly for its Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. The climate is cool and sunny, with warm days and cool nights, allowing for slow ripening of the grapes and a high concentration of aromas.
Regional Information: Resolution Bay faithfully reflects the characteristics of New Zealand Pinot Noir. The grapes are harvested mainly from the Waihopai Valley, an exclusive location in the Marlborough region and the South Island area. The climate of the Waihopai Valley is characterized by warm, sunny days and cool nights, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and steadily.
